Like the look of this place and the service is attentive from the second you walk in. Jury is out with their fried foods. We just didn't seem to get much for our money and some items were a bit on the oily side. I did like the crispness of the batter on the fish and it was nice and moist on the inside, there just wasn't enough of it. Lucky if it was 10cm long. Others have said the helpings are big enough to share so perhaps there is a consistency issue. On the positive side their burgers are fantastic. I had a southern fried chicken burger and my partner had the Jacky Jones. Both were flavourful, moist, generously proportioned and did not fall apart due to the great bun used. Would definitely give it another go but only for the burgers.

First time we ate here our serve of fish was miniscule (although batter light and fluffy and fish juicy and tasted great) and the potato cakes were a bit oily, also small. Decided it wasn't worth the price so moved to burgers. They are fantastic, both chicken and beef ones tried. Will definitely go back for burgers but will avoid the fried foods.

Come here for the first time cuz the mrs want to rry out the place. The shop was empty but we have to wait 50 minutes for a order that could have been done in 10 because somehow our order wasn’t came through while the others were fine! And worse, there wasn’t any apology. Got home and find out the flakes was grilled instead of fried like we had ordered. NEVER come back again! There is Fish Pier down at Polaris that is much better food and service!

Was happily surprised. Wanted fish and chips and all the regular places were closed at 8.30 on a Saturday night so we gave it a shot. Fish was clean, well cooked, good batter. Scallops were a little over cooked but still nice. Chips are ok - no salt tho? Weird. Would try again.
