Great little find. We were just wandering looking for dumplings and came across this great little restaurant.  Cool little tech help with the screens to order yourself at your table. The food was delicious and promptly served once we ordered on the screen. Friendly staff and it was nice to see the dumplings being made.

I just went there for the dumplings and nothing else. And it was more than worth it. If you just want dumplings this is the place to go. Highly recommend it. Would come back to China Red any time. Ordering works super simple via a screen next to the table. I’m case you just spy in, be aware they also have downstairs seating — so better always ask if they have a free table for you.

Really delicious Chinese food with a massive downstairs area which we never knew about!  Just went there for a light meal and ordered some vegetarian noodles, hot & sour soup and spicy wontons - every dish was really tasty.  You order everything on their iPad system - very efficient.

We all agreed that the best of all dishes we ordered was the cumin beef. I have tried similar dish in another restaurant which has overpowering cumin but this here is just great, well done! My second favourite dish was the crispy pork as I live the crumbs with shallot. But if  you're not a fan of salt, this is not a place for you coz they put A LOT of salt in the dishes. And it's decent price, 4 dish for $102 can feed at least 5 people :

As we were roaming around the CBD on our second night, we came across China Red. We initially didn't want to go in because it was empty but I'm glad we did.  You order everything from a touchscreen interface at your table, which was convenient. Just tap and order what you want. Everything also came out really quickly.  Within 10 mins of sitting down, the dinner crowd arrived, and the restaurant was packed. The food itself was quite tasty, so I can understand why there were so many people.

The dumplings were amazing and some of the best I ever had. Would totally recommend. However, I didn’t try anything else from the menu.

Super fast service. May not technically be fast food. When ever we go here and order drinks from their screen, we count how long they take for the drinks to arrive. Usually in under 30 sec. I’ve tried a bunch of items and it’s all good here

Came here for a quick dinner before attending Frozen the musical. Staff were friendly. Ordering your meal and getting the bill is all done from the ipad. Super easy to use. Pork San choy bau was very very delicious. Dumplings were good, and prawns tasted fresh. Only negative is that there seemed to be less meals listed on the ipad menu than on the hard menu. I would love to come here again and try other items on the menu

Had the fried rice with salted fish, kway teow with beef and pan fried dumplings. Portions were big, taste-wise only ok.  Fried rice grains was slightly too hard, kway teow too oily, pan fried dumpling skin too thick.  Service was brisk, ordering was through a touch screen menu.  The food is OK if you are craving for Chinese cuisine.

Love China Red.  The food is high quality and delicious every single time. We love eating here when we are in the city.  Great Service. Great Food. Fast. Friendly. Clean.
