Pathetic service at this store both on the phone and in person when we visited today Sunday 18 September.. First rang to ensure they have Bioceuticals Ultra Potent Vitamin C 500 grams in stock before I drove in to the city where parking is always a challenge. Penelope assured me on the phone  that they do have the 500 gms in stock after I said that was what I was after. Stood at the service counter whilst the Filipino lady behind the counter had what seemed to be a long social chat with another Filipino customer whilst I and another lady waited patiently. I'm Asian too so there is no racial intent in this comment - just a fact! When she finally served me and I told her what I had come for she tells me they do not have the 500 gms in stock! When I told her that I rang and was told by Penelope that it was in stock she had another look on her computer and said there must have been a mistake on the part of the staff member who gave me that advice as that size has "been discontinued". So I then asked her how can it be a discontinued product when it is available for sale online? To which her new response was that it has been "discontinued at this store" which seemed rather far fetched! Being travelers I needed to buy it at a store and was pretty disgusted with this lousy service having first been given wrong information on the phone and then poor service in the Store with not even an attempt to check if another store had it. It was particularly annoying as we had walked about 500 metres from where we found parking in the middle of a hot day to pick up what turned out to be unavailable. We are long standing customers of Chemist Warehouse and always look for your store on our travels around Australia but this was a frustrating waste of time.

The range here isn't as good as the big Chemist Warehouse in Garbutt however most things can be ordered in for next day from their Warehouse.  It's definitely quieter here, so scripts are dispensed faster, but there aren't as many staff around to ask questions. Regardless though, staff are helpful when asked, and they will endeavour to answer any queries you may have. Always received excellent customer service, you will get all sorts of Perfumes for lowest price and Medicine at lowest price too. Toiletry and even special needs like foot ware.  These days they come up with toys for toddlers with the best prices.

Agree with recent reviews  Something has gone terribly wrong with this store. Service is non existent.  I dropped a script off at the drop script counter.   Four hours later  I walked into the store and lined up at the collection script counter  expecting a quick pick up.  I stood there waiting for 25 minutes while they continually served other people at drop counter and random people  and they just looked at me.  Is this sign up for fun.  I dropped off the script so my waiting time would be less but this was a useless idea.   I finally got served asking what I wanted.  Duh? I am in the pick up collection script line - where I was first in line waiting for 25 minutes.  Then of course I had to go to the front of the store and surprise all those other people who were served before me were lined up - 1 person on register. More waiting   Worse still when I got home for some reason the medication that I have always gotten from the repeat scripts is different.  Now I have to go to my GP to find out why this chemist from the same repeat script  has  given me perindopril erbumine  which is Idaprex  in a red box instead of my usual perindopril arginine which is Apotex in a blue box.  I am so annoyed.  Can t get into my GP until Friday.  I have no idea if this medication is ok for me.  I will be doing my best to avoid this store and telling others the same thing .  I just noticed they have put a sticker on the  Idaprex box saying - DO NOT TAKE POTASSIUM while being treated with this medicine unless advised by your doctor - which my old box of medication does not and never has had that sticker on it.

I just got called a liar and a thief at this place claiming I never paid for a prescription. Well phone banking set them straight. Not so much as an apology. Never going back.

The Pharmacist was quite helpful and took the time to explain everything.

The new intern pharmacist has absolutely no idea about any thing I ask her for, they're things that I have purchased from behind the counter previously. She didn't take the initiative to ask anyone, and kept questioning what I needed. I went there two days in a row and had the same experience which was very frustrating. I ended up walking out annoyed and going elsewhere, to which they helped me with exactly what I needed. Seems as though she needs to be more informed on products or more training needed

What a joke ! Great lines of people at the script counter and front counter and staff looking like they have no clue what they are doing. I had to call out and ask for someone to come to the counter to serve. Then waiting in another great line with only one staff to serve the entire store at the front. When I commented that the service was almost non existent and I won't be back the girl said in the most cheerful manor " I'm sorry you feel that way sir ". She clearly didn't care and just treated the comment as a joke . What I said however is true ! I WILL NOT EVER BE BACK.

Terrible service. WOULDNT give me OVER THE COUNTER medication for hay fever. But was able to get it from DISCOUNT CHEMIST. RIDICULOUS. DO BETTER.

I brought items from chemist warehouse Townsville. I went back to exchange some items. They weren’t the right product. I  proceed to the make up isle to find the correct product. Whilst there I was looking the employee asked me if I needed help. I said in a polite manner, “no thank you”  I found the correct product, she then stated “that’s your shade light” . I just informed her not all make up shades are what is shown on the packaging. They disagreed & said it was right, they then proceeded to leave & said I’ll be back to help“. After I went to the check out, the same employee stated, I had open the packaging on the items I was returning.  that I opened & swatched the products on my arm. Which I had not. The employee was argumentative. They opened the product to show me it wasn’t damaged, They interrupted me also whilst In mid conversation continuously. They made assumptions that weren’t accurate
