A different experience with Sri Lanka's crusine. Foods are very nice and good portion. Most importantly, value for $. Friendly staffs, always serve with big smile . Definitely come back. Vegetarian options: Nice vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Have something in their food cabinet for little one if kids can't take spicy food.
Absolutely outstanding!! Had two veggie lunch dishes one mixed curry, the other roti, and both had perfectly spiced flavors and fresh bright ingredients. Visited on the recommendation of a friend and took takeaways for other friends it was just SO good. Best food in Chc!
Sudath the chef/owner is a lovely guy always humble and smiling, a man of many talents and lucky for us he can cook! The food carries a depth of flavour and compliments everything else on the plate. I am always extremely satisfied and happy after a meal here, it just hits right!
My wife and I called in there last night after reading the reviews. We had the Lamb Curry which was absolutely delicious. Then tried a Beef Croquette which was superb. Great prices and lovely family owners. High recommend
Certainly worth trying. Food isn’t expensive. 15$ on an ave for dishes and very filling size. Much happy to see a decent Sri Lankan place which isn’t heavy on the wallet. Will b returning.. Oh.. point to note go for mild. Food is hot if you can’t handle spicy
Wonderful eatery with humble and friendly staff. We went there during a short visit to Christchurch. We had rice & curry and the food was quite delicious. The staff was really friendly and even offered travel tips and things to do around in Christchurch. Definitely recommend if you're keen to try out Sri Lankan food.

Great home style Sri Lankan food, good portions and value too.
Everything is so nice about this place. The food. The staff. We had the combo meal. It’s totally worth the money. The coconut chutney I think and the chilli sambal is the best. The staff are really patient and kind and are happy to explain what’s what. Definitely recommend it!
