Was with trepidation that I made an appointment to visit Centrelink Hornsby. All to no avail - arrived early, was seen early by Joe who sorted out the problems plus more, parking was easy. Very well organised and very professional. - Well done!

I think that people has sort of prejudice about government officer. Such as they must be nice, or they are citizen's servant therefore they must do whatever people ask.. My experience, they are pretty kind enough and did their job properly. Perhaps, I was lucky to be served by good staff. : The office has small issue, that there's no toilet for people, they inform people go to Westfiled Shoppincenter which is 2-3mins walk plus to cross 2-3 traffic lights. Very risky for disable people and people who visit with kids. To be improved.
Useless people. Called the hotline three times and got a different answer on a simple matter every single time. Was directed to the centre the last time and when I went there, I was first asked to book an appointment. And when it’s finally my turn, the person there had no idea what I was saying. Wondered what’s the point of even having a hotline or a centre if nobody knows what he/she is doing.
Had such a good experience, the lady on reception was so helpful and kind and the lady who helped me with my issue was quick, professional and nice too. I really dreaded coming because govt is often a pain to deal with but they really have improved and their systems seem a lot more efficient, didn't need half the paperwork I brought, so that was great too. In and out in about 30 minutes.
My wife of non English speaking background visited this branch with a difficult problem some months ago. Rude staff showed no patience and were not at all helpful. She went to another branch where staff assisted her in resolving her issue.
I appreciate the amazing service that I continuously received from Medicare staff Bryce at Centrelink Hornsby.He is well informed ,helpful ,quick, professional and willing to take extra steps to assist clients.thank you .
It was my first visit there. And to my experience, i was very satisfied with their service. I hardly rate something like this in Google but just wanted to mention the woman named Sharon was really helpful. Felt like i was just talking to a friend and helped me through my concerns. Medicare concerns I'm very much happy with their general services.
Centrelink staff is Incompetent and rude. We had to visit twice and wait for more than an hour because the staff member had forgotton to tick a box when we provided our identity documents on our first visit. They look at you with a straight face and make you feel as if they have to pay family tax, or any other benefits, from their pockets. For some reason they don’t know how to smile. Having said that, we were treated very well and had a very good experience when we applied for Medicare in February, 2018. This is the only reason I am giving 2 stars.
After reading the reviews here i was dreading going in to do a simple transfer of medicare card, but it was great! This was at 9:30am on a friday - I was seen straight away, asked politely to wait, was called up within 3 minutes, then the guy was very polite and sorted it out for me in less than 5 minutes. Great service thank you
