Service was very friendly and rooms were clean. The unit I had (the shared studio rooms) were right next to the road and across the street from a working farm. I didn't notice the earplugs that were provided on the nightstand, but I wish I had since I was awoken by speed racers on the road and then loud cattle early in the morning (before 5 am). I think units farther from the road would be fine.

Stinky blankets and towels. Flies in the room. Mattress was horrible. And the noise of vehicles on motor way. It was next to impossible to sleep. If you visiting this area for Waitomo caves you are better off booking hotel in either Hamilton or if you have time to drive then Rotorua. Avoid this place if you can. I wish I can give it a zero star. One can say you get what you pay. The minimum I expect is clean sheets and towels.

Friendly service and convenient location just 10 minutes from the glow worm cave tour offices. "Kitchenette" had only a microwave, bread toaster, and water kettle. Had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink... Windows need bug screens because there are a lot of them trying to get in at night! Woke up several times when loud vehicles would drive past at night.

Wireless internet was poor quality and not free, but staff was up front about it being poor quality. There was some street noise, but they provided earplugs. Our main disappointment was that the "kitchen facilities" just consisted of a electric kettle and a microwave, not even a kitchen sink.

Lovely Buffet dinner that was for 20-30 people. Only 14 turned up. Others gave apologise. Had to pay for 20. But beautiful service. Would recommend this place. Everyone went away full, they loved the Buffet.😊😚.
