This is a great place to stay in Otorohanga. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Jeff is a gracious and accommodating owner who provided us with private transportation to area attractions at very reasonable cost. It's nice to stay in a place where on-site owners take pride in the property and care about their guests, unlike the chain motels you find in the US. I definitely recommend a stop in Otorohanga if you are touring New Zealand, and a stay at the Palm Court Motel!

We were well catered for and we were comfortable and settled in with everything we needed. Your motel is clean and well maintained and we highly recommend your motel to everyone. We would definitely stay again, and I know that we would have much more to talk about next time too! Having come from days of hikoi mo Toitu te Tiriti from Te Tai Tokerau, and just completed the harbour bridge harenega in our way to our Ratana Pa to our brother-in-law's unveiling you were very open to hearing all about our journey. Mauri ora mo to manaakitanga!
Seriously outdated. I am not a fussy traveler but this place needs a massive revamp. Traffic noise is another level rumbling all through the night. Decor is from the 70s. Had three nights booked stayed reluctantly 1 then left. Sorry team but this place needs a massive reality check cannot understand how or who in their right mind thinks it's a 4.5 star rating. Photos are not the real experience in their web site, note the kitchen sink and the kids play ground is across the road not even on premises bowl under the unwiped table .
Amazing location and great personable service.. so close to so many food options but hands down fat kiwi was the very best restaurant ever and I think we will miss their food so much. You can walk there for breakfast and lunch. The owner is very kind and helpful. If you don't mind the beds on the soft side like our kids you will enjoy it. I prefer a harder bed so I found it a bit uncomfortable but still managed to get a great sleep. Very quiet location yet so close to everything and the playground across the road was tops for the kids after a day at the caves. It provides all the facilities to cook your own meals if you don't feel like eating out. You can walk to restaurants and bars. Very close drive to waitomo. Walk distance to supermarket
Loved this place so much we returned on our way back home. Not sure why but we both slept so well again. This time we were in an upstairs room overlooking trees. Very pretty and lovely to wake to birdsong.nnGreat linen. Doing the basics with excellence sets this motel apart.
