Stayed one night only, thankfully. These units are very dated and have very poor amenities. Dark, dank and mouldy. Our unit was underneath the owners unit in a basement with cinder block walls. Curtains did not close properly, water was unpleasant to drink. It was however clean and spacious. There were other unit across the road owned by the same company that did appear to be more modern. About this place.

Picked this motel due to previous good reviews. Very disappointed. Rooms
extremely dated. 1960's decor. Basic Shower with curtain and fixed metal rose etc. I would have been ok with that but other advertised amenities such as playground for kids was damaged beyond repair and unusable, SPA pool was not available to use either. Just generally run down

Pleasant welcome from friendly staff. Room was dated and some of the bedding needed to be changed due to dirty marks. Great location for Waitomo Caves but the motel is in need of a little TLC.

It's a bit tired, but it has a nice pool, and there isn't really anything particularly bad about it.
