Bonito Bar, good place to have a mexican style drink or food. I had a great time with my friends, and may I say that I had one of the best beer I tried in all New Zealand.
Excellent service, some nice craft beers, super-tasty food. Upbeat atmosphere, busy but not slow nor crowded. Highly recommended. Sorry, not a tequila drinker so I can't comment on the extensive tequila menu.
The food was decent and the venue is nice. Service was delayed due to and error by the waitress but was rectified professionally so overall we were happy. Worth trying the reaper sauce if you like hot food, it will blow your head off

Burrito and a few beers can't go wrong. A decent size so you wont go hungry.

Best margarita I've ever had. The chicken mole enchiladas were good but was very lightly sauced -- don't be shy with the sauce when making enchiladas. The service was really attentive and fast. I was surprised to see so much business on a Sunday night in Blenheim but they've clearly earned their reputation through making delicious items.
It was $15 burrito night when I visited. It was a pleasant atmosphere, not too crowded we went on a holiday, and the service was friendly and responsive. I wasn't a fan of the Moro chicken burrito I ordered. I thought it was dry and largely tasteless. The salsa, sour cream, and guac that topped the burrito were too sweet. My friends enjoyed the pulled pork burritos they had. We ordered chips and salsa, too. We successfully experimented with the addition of the Carolina Reaper hot sauce to the green salsa to spice it up and add more flavor. The beer selection was decent with several local brews; something I always enjoy trying when visiting new locations. The beer, service, and price make up the 2 star rating.
They've got the goods. Food is fantastic. Service is awesome. Beer is cold. Seriously I can't fault this place. It was noisy and raucous in small town NZ on a Monday night. That means it's good and everyone knows it. Now you do too. Get in there and get the ceviche.
Fabulous authentic Mexican food and very friendly staff. I had the goat and it was just incredible, with rich flavor. They often have specials on drinks, and there is a kids menu as well. Would definitely recommend.
