Nice caffe with friendly staff and good menu options. Nothing amazing but definitely a good option in town. Very nice tables in the outside when weather helps.
I love coming to Ritual when I travel from Christchurch exceptional vegan food, friendly staff a lovely atmosphere too.nMorning tea on my first visit this time was the kiwifruit raw slice which I highly recommend it's just Devine! Next day back for brunch so delicious and the Velvet chai latte is a must try.nKeep up the good work guys, see you next time

My daughter ordered a sweet chai latte, it was so spicy she couldn't drink it and was also served luke warm. The whole family took a sip of her drink and none of us thought it tasted like a chai that we know. When she went back to the counter to ask if it was normal they said that it was the usual pepper corn mix that they used. She was disappointed as she paid for it with her own pocket money. I asked if the two drinks were mine when only one of them was called out and the lady making the drinks really snapped at me... Might have been a bad day...
Super cute cafe! We stopped in for breakfast on a rainy day. You order at the counter. The place does not have any wifi and is geared towards conversation and reading - lots of magazines and books and the bathroom is plastered in newspaper. I tried the salmon and eggs on toast and hubs tried the larger breakfast with poached egg, bacon and some kind of chili thing? He loved it. Flat whites were also nice and strong. Great for a quick bite!
