Urban hippy food(if this descriptor even exists), smoking good coffee, retro junk decor, brilliant if under-appreciated Barbie Doll art, really really good looking Baristas, music you and your grandma, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and offspring could conceivably listen to and it is better than the sounds in your average everyday elevator.

One of the best cafe option with nice friendly atmosphere. Locals and tourists both come here to get a tasty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. Portions are generous, and the decor inside is quite fun. The eggs benedict were very nice. Enjoy all!
Nice caffe with friendly staff and good menu options. Nothing amazing but definitely a good option in town. Very nice tables in the outside when weather helps.
Another eggs benedict review. This was the first I’ve seen with no vegetables, making for a plain looking dish. Tasty hollandaise and a breakfast bun were the stars of the show, but things went downhill from there. Cutting into the eggs revealed yellow yoke and slimy whites. Underneath, the bacon was still squealing having just brushed past the frying pan. No sign of blanched spinach or hash brown.nRitual Cafe gets a 2 out of 5.nCheers
Super cute cafe! We stopped in for breakfast on a rainy day. You order at the counter. The place does not have any wifi and is geared towards conversation and reading - lots of magazines and books and the bathroom is plastered in newspaper. I tried the salmon and eggs on toast and hubs tried the larger breakfast with poached egg, bacon and some kind of chili thing? He loved it. Flat whites were also nice and strong. Great for a quick bite!
I love coming to Ritual when I travel from Christchurch exceptional vegan food, friendly staff a lovely atmosphere too.nMorning tea on my first visit this time was the kiwifruit raw slice which I highly recommend it's just Devine! Next day back for brunch so delicious and the Velvet chai latte is a must try.nKeep up the good work guys, see you next time
