The locals can say what they want about this place, but they offer a better dining experience, with great options, updated 'on trend' menus, wide selection of beverages/full bar (first place I've seen someone drink out of a martini glass in the three years I've been here!) than most other places in Blenheim. It's a great value option for dinner with friends and for the party seekers, it's a good time on the weekends.

Lovely bar. Great seating and a nice outside area that I unfortunately did not get to enjoy. The squid was executed flawlessly and well seasoned. My main was a braised sirloin with roasted garden vegetables and a delicious gravy with a horse radish sauce. It was on the cheaper side, so the meat itself was a bit dry. However, the vegetables were amazingly roasted and the combination with the gravy & horse radish sauce really made the dish stand out. And look at that presentation! What a fabulous looking dish.

This place was top notch and would make plans to go there again!! The food was some of the best we have had in a very long time, the atmosphere was great and our server (Kristy) was exceptional. We weren’t there at a busy time but it was still steady, we regularly had drink refills and didn’t have to wait long for food. We are traveling back through this area in a week with others and will make specific plans to detour out of our way to have a meal here again.

Aside from the rude manager, the watered down drinks, immature bar staff and sticky floors, it is a nice looking place. A shame otherwise.

Attended on open mic night. Most amazing experience with some seriously awesome talent! Was blown away. One of the best cider and music nights we have had in years.
