nWe’re visiting from Australia and stumbled upon Gramado while in New Zealand, and honestly, it became a highlight of our trip.nnI’ve never had a steak cooked this perfectly. The chef absolutely nailed medium rare! it was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The level of care and precision was truly something special.nnWhat really set this place apart though was the warmth and hospitality. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like long-time friends. Each server brought such heart and pride, explaining the dishes as they served them, and you could genuinely feel the love in the food.nnWe didn’t even order dessert, yet they surprised us with the most adorable plate, complete with love hearts and two delicious chocolatey balls that were light, fluffy, and full of flavor.nnEverything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was pure class. I’m so glad we stopped by, Gramado is a gem, and we’ll be recommending it to anyone visiting New Zealand.nnThank you for making our night unforgettable!
An amazing dining experience!!! The food was absolutely incredible and the recommendations were all amazing. Even better than the food somehow! was the exceptional level of service. Saulo and all the other staff members were all so incredibly welcoming, and it made for a lovely dining experience. Would 1000% recommend for everyone!
Ok where do I even begin!! This place is absolutely amazing, the service is just wonderful and fun, the theme is so beautiful and cozy and the food was spectacular, it is a bit more on the expensive side but it is so worth it especially for special occasions, my food tasted amazing and was plated beautifully I truly don't understand the bad reviews I've seen they must have sad life's because I had zero issues with my experience, definitely will be going again
My friend and I came here for my birthday for dinner and I got the warmest welcome!! Saulo even tacked up a birthday banner for me! He even sat down with us for a personalized touch to explain the menu!nnEveryone walking in said that their hotel recommended it as the top place to eat in town and I can see why!!nnHere you get amazing one on one service and attention. Great suggestions through the evening from drinks, entrees to mains!nnWe started with refreshing mojitos with incredibly fresh mint! Then we had a local wine!nnWe had the Brazilian cheese bread with a yummy dipping sauce.nnMy friend ordered the steak and I had the lamb. They brought out a plate with various levels of spicy chilis with their own unique flavor and heat profile. My heart felt filled I love spicy things!nnWhen I told them I was looking for more heat, he brought out a Brazilian ghost pepper or a Carolina reaper — it was Russian roulette because he didn’t know which one he grabbed!nnLoved the spicy homemade hot sauce with the steak which my friend so graciously shared! The lamb has a more delicate taste which would be overpowered by the various chilis. Still loved the supple and tender meat!nnWe ordered dessert and of course the whole restaurant was singing happy birthday! Which dessert did I go with? You got it the chocolate lava cake volcano with homemade chocolate chili sauce!nnWe had a fabulous experience here and I 100% recommend you try… But it does get super busy so I highly recommend getting reservations in advance!
Great dining experience to explore new flavors.nnWent here a while ago but the dining experience still stuck with us.nnThe restaurant seems always fully booked, which is a great sign.nnThe team is super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a fish pie which was absolutely TOP.nnWe were offered different kind of chili's and we enjoyed every single one of them.
