The STEAK too is worth sampling, just pick your cut and your sauce you are good to go. There are also some GAME options ( for those feeling brave) and some great kids dishes for the under 12s.

old looking setup, very friendly staff. excellent food, portions are huge so the pricing is justified. we tried Fishman platter,  Mariners catch and  chicken in breadcrumbs n chips for kids. everyone was happy with their order. will definitely go again.

The food was excellent. Was a good amount of food on the plate. Flavour was great, didnt wait too long for a large table. Everyone got there food at the same time and it was a relaxed environment. The prices were moderate but was value for money considering the size of each of our meals. Overall no one complained and everyone enjoyed their night. If you are looking for great home style meals but a bit up market in this area this place is the go to restaurant.

The seafood is frozen😠 our prawns were soaked with water probably used to defrost them straight out of the freezer😤. Save your money and run...🏃.  If I wanted frozen seafood I would've gone for fish & chips. Farewell Cardens, you are not the same (New Owners) 👎👎👎.

Whole experiance was average from the moment we walked in. They didnt seem to have our booking, only 3 glasses on a table for 4, no salt pepper or ornament on our table, 1 person on our table got food then the whole table behind us got their food before the rest of us got our food, My salad was overdressed, chips undercooked and fish was not what i expected from reading the menu. Food wasn't terrible but no better than local fish and chip shop but 4 x the price.

Absolutely appalling food nothing is fresh all old and frozen . Definitely the worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life would highly recommend to stay away from this place..... there is new management there it is not the same restaurant as it used to be the standards of food has dramatically declined . It's a shame because it used to be one of the best steaks you could get now it is most definitely the worst steaks in town
