On Tuesday the 6th of February we went to Salang Restaurant for a school excursion to indulge in different kinds of cuisine. We walked in and the place was fairly big but just smaller than an average restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly restaurant manger and the staff. They seemed very happy to serve us as we were such a big group. We seated and the restaurant manger made sure that everyone was comfortable and was enjoying themselves. He read the menu out and made sure if anyone had any dietary needs so we don’t get sick. But unfortunately it seemed that restaurant was very understaffed, it might mean that it was a family business so it was meant to be like that. So this might mean that the restaurant might not get much business, as restaurants because of the lack of staff. The food was good but the best food that I was served was the chicken and beef kebabs. The spices were delicious and eating the meat off the skewer was yummy idea. All the other food was pretty average, but in the end restaurant was fairly good. I give this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars.

The finest traditional home cooking very simple food but with amazing ingredients. At the afghan restaurant for a school excursion. Perfectly prepared in a casual and quiet setting with simple decorations. The chicken and beef kababs were very well cooked and tasted amazing. I have a reverence for beautiful food. The food at Afghan Salang created the experience that everyone can enjoy. The restaurant was very clean and in A1 condition. I went there for a school excursion and I didn’t expect to like it because I’ve never had it before. But once I had some of their food I couldn’t stop, it was amazing on how much food that they had brought out, the prices are amazing for the food that they serve. I recommend coming back to Salang restaurant for the amazing staff and the amazing food that they put on the plate.

Nice place, very neat and clean. The staff is very welcoming and the food is always tasteful. Only one thing to mention about the menu as it does not have many options to choose from especially for the vegetarian customers. If they can add just one or two more dishes then it can give the vegetarian customers the opportunity to explore the afghan food a little more. Otherwise, will definitely recommend it as the food has always succeeded in tickling our taste buds and is always freshly cooked. Their dips are amazing but a bit overpriced seeing the quantity served.

Amazing food! Haven't had meat like this in a while! Beautiful chicken and lamb on scewers. And loved the condiments with rice. The eggplant was a hit (actually everything was)! Very cheap considering the quality and the service was impeccable! Really lovely, bright atmosphere too. Will definitely be back with the family. Having been raving about this place to my hubby!

This would have to be by far the best afghan restaurant I've been to! The customer service is amazing, the food is next to none and the manager is the absolute sweetest with his service and how he comes across. Sure the place can be a little quiet at times but I think its just because its an undiscovered gem - lucky for us it just means we get our food quickly. The menu caters for veggos as well and we always leave with bellies bursting at the seams! Repeat customer and highly encourage everyone to try it! ;)
