It’s probably been 6 years since my last visit, signage from clow street and stud road still not easy to identify for out of town people visiting.Overall not much has changed, only the cheaper food prices have gone, the prices are mostly equal to super market prices and some were much more expensive than smaller independent shops and overall venders fruit quality is consistent but a few could really improve their quality and attitude to customers basically a lot of ignorant store owners. About the only one worth a visit is Alexander’s, well run and good quality stocks.Still some good box bargains later in day close to end of trading day.The management of the overall take away food area could improve their layout for seating not enough for size of areas and some tables are in really bad structural condition, someone also wiping and clearing tables between patrons would be nice.Also some of the vendors could clean their food equipment I really don’t believe many would pass food handling nor hygiene laws,surely management must hold some sort of minimum standards on this.
This was the first time back here since I was a boy, and it had only gotten better. Lots of low-priced fruit and vegetables, many different types of foods from around the world, and a well organised bazaar. Can be a very busy place so watch where you're going.
Good market, good parking and great little food stores !! , plus beautiful fresh flowers and fruits veggies, meats and delicious fish ! Plus clothing, shoes, Ugg-like boots, electronic, phone cases and play area for kids

The market simply extrudes symbiotic multiculturalism with the idea of acceptance of all ethnicities working together in a cohesive and friendly environment.nnThe market really uplifts the status and all the negative connotations associated with the Dandenong suburb. The market feels very safe and clean and is always buzzing with vibrant activity! Parking is never difficult to find even on busy event days which are hosted every 2 months celebrating the ethnic diversity that is Australia!nnTo top it off Dandenong market is a flavour paradise and a foodie's dream! You can find pretty much any type of street food you can imagine here!!
