I bought an expired product which was my own fault and just noticed it couple days ago before opening it. It expires on May 2024. When I come over to the service counter and explain, the staff didn’t even ask if I want a refund or exchange and assumed I want a refund. Yet I want to exchange.nnThe best part was, when I went to the supplement shelf and look for the same item and only found 2 bottle which are EXPIRED as well, Feb 24 and 2023. I have no photos of the expiry date, only receipts.
Sometimes, when I visit Dandenong marketplace, I usually go to this Coles. Good location, long opening hours, and plenty of parking space available. There's a dedicated Halal food corner available here, too, in case you are looking for Halal meats. The shop is quite big and the staff are well mannered and helpful. Most of the stocks are available, and prices are reasonable being next to Dandenong marketplace. The only issue I notice is the presence of homeless people almost in the front door and don't feel comfortable seeing them all the time. However, I understand that Coles management has very little control over this situation. Good experience overall, and I enjoy shopping groceries here.
Overall very good. I love the scoop and weigh section. Prior to the curfew, I loved the late opening hours. Also plenty of half price roast chicken at nights, generally they are ready around 8pm. The meat section however could be better. Some of the premium cuts aren’t here when I checked scotch fillet, eye fillet, pork chops, etc.
Great store just needs a better bakery section,it seems they always get the leftovers from the other stores,like rolls are always stail and stuff like that,it's not baked on store like other supermarkets,and the homeless people is a concern,which I understand isn't there fault,but maybe hire a security guard to move them along, you need to basically step over them
Me and my wife got there at 10:54 PM and we were denied entry by the asian guy at the front because they close at 11pm. My wife was desperate to buy some pads as she had started her first period after having our baby.nAll tho i understand the closing time is 11pm but we told him the reason and we would have been in and out. He let a woman in 20 seconds before us. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. He told us to go all the to burwood coles meanwhile we have our baby in the car agitated and crying. This place is absolutely unprofessional. Hire better workers.
