Shopped at Kmart Dandenong today. A staff was being so rude to me and my kids with walking to us and judging us for something that we weren’t even doing - I know this sounds a little crazy and we were shocked. Talked to the service manager Alana after and she agreed that we didn’t do anything wrong but was rude too, and incapable to manage her own team. Reported to the Kmart CS as I was told to feel free to do and hoping this won’t happen to anyone else.
Located within a plaza, but easy to find free parking just next to it. Was looking for a particular item which their online system said was in stock at this brach and when I couldn't find it, I got assistance from a staff who not only redirected me to the unexpected shelving and when she couldn't find it there either, she went to the back and got one for me from the back whilst also helping others on the way - amazing service but I think it was just credit to this one staff member. I do note that it took a while to get a hold of a staff but luckily found someone eventually, definitely lack of staff in this branch, and even items on the shelves seemed more in disarray here compared to other Kmarts. Check out wasn't near the exit as you'd expect, though it seems this is the newer system Kmart is putting in place in all their branches now. No surcharge on cards.
The worst Kmart I have been to and the staff is rude, not supportive and helpful. Would not recommend this to anyone. I had to deal with several stuff members today and they clearly lack empathy and other human qualities.
Messy store and rude staff. The door staff who always dresses up like a clown has the audacity to hassle you if he can't scan your receipt. Stop treating your customer like thieves and putting robots as the door greeter. We are allowed to refuse you checking anything if we wish to. Thank you for ruining my Christmas shopping day kmart!
Today I was really struggling to get some photos done so the lady at the cashier at the time was around midday so even though she was by herself & busy she made sure that I could understand for me to complete the project that I had then another young man by the name of Seb really went out of his way to help us my friend & I as we couldn't work out the computer so I would forv r Seb & the lady I think her name is Cathy to be commended for their outstanding customer service as they both went above & beyond to get us through. Thank you both again for your professionalism & I pray that You all have a blessed Christmas & healthy & prosperous year 2025
