Very disappointed with the service. Needed assistance at the register and she just stood there on her phone. What even happened to Kmart Dandenong? Completely poorly managed store with improperly trained staff, lacking awareness and customer service etiquette.nnI’ve never had such a shocking experience visiting a Kmart store before. It’s completely run down now and feels like a store in a developing country running out of supplies. Mess everywhere with items all over the floor and items on shelves in the wrong places.nnThe customer service is shocking, groups of young staff just standing around in groups chit chatting and giving looks to customers. Waited for service at the click and collect desk and pressed the button 3 times to notify them, only to find two staff standing around having a personal conversation. Another two young staff just standing around the change rooms giggling to themselves. Only one staff at the check out area today from the few was decently pleasant to deal with.
My recent visits to Kmart Dandenong have been very positive. On Tuesday evening, the gentleman who assisted me while I was printing my photos was exceptionally polite and respectful. I wish I had noted his name so I could give him proper recognition. While I was using the photo printing computers, he courteously asked if I needed any help and always wore a friendly smile as he worked diligently.nnLater, a young lady with blue hair served me when my photos were ready for collection. She was happy to allow me to make additional purchases while I wandered the store, keeping myself occupied as my photos printed at the customer service counter.nnThe only area of concern was the stationery and crafts section. It was quite untidy, though I understand that many local children and students visit frequently and likely contribute to the disarray, making it difficult to locate items and their correct prices. Everywhere else in the store was presented well, considering this, and it is clear the staff responsible for organizing stock are putting in their best effort.nnI plan on continuing my visits here. Thank you very much.
Very disappointed with the service at Kmart Dandenong. The store manager, Alex, and his staff were extremely unhelpful and quite rude. When I asked simple questions about the items they sell, they acted like it was a bother. Their attitude made it feel like they didn’t care whether I bought anything or not. Definitely not the kind of customer service you expect.
