Carac's Dandenong Caravan Accessories has been serving the caravaning community for over 40 years and is proud of its contribution to the industry.

Story

CARAC'S Dandenong Caravan Accessories has two major business streams:

1. The sale of caravan, mobile home and trailer parts, fittings and accessories.
New to caravanning, just refurbishing an older van or converting a bus to a mobile home; Carac can supply everything you will need,from aluminium cladding through to the kitchen sink, we have all the neccessary gear needed for successful caravanning.
Our staff have over 100 years experience with the company and many own or have owned caravans and are avid caravanners. If you are looking for advice this is the place to come.
2. The sale of trailer parts and accessories:
With over 30 years experience manufacturing trailers in sizes up to 16ft long, CARAC now specialise in the sale of trailer parts and accessories.
We carry a large stock of panels, trailer axle and suspension components and, can supply a wide range of axle/brake combinations.

Public holidays: 10.00 am - 5.00 pm
Anzac Day: 1.00 pm - 5.00 pm
We are closed New Years Day, Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Been going there to both the old and new stores over the years, and always had what I wanted. Large well laid out and signed showroom and I usually leave with more than I went there for! But as several people have mentioned, with online stores now supplying so much more cheaper, they need to sharpen their pencils on price.

You might boast about operating for several years , but as far as Customer Service, you have none. I would like to give you a minus star but the one star is because you have a lot of spare parts. 3 times i tried to get help and all of the times it's been terrible service. The first time i tried to ask about the service for a trailer the girl at the front desk yelled out to the man sitting on another desk to help and he said that he couldn't help me as he lost his contact lenses, the second time i tried to obtain the same information by calling and the girl on the phone told me that she can't help me to ring back on Monday as it was a Saturday and there was no technician available and the third time was the final straw when I went back to the store asking about a part for my trailer and the guy seem disinterested. Frankly I am surprised how you are still operating with that kind of Service. Perhaps you need to hire people that are happy to serve Customer and for all the grumps to go and work in the back

Everything in one place only criticism is their return policy does not fill you with confidence... if you change your mind !..very nice and helpful staff

Very helpful and good service from Chris he remembered me calling the day before and was on the ball with all good help and advice. Always very friendly people to deal wirh. Thank you.

Excellent service from the staff. They couldn't be more helpful.!! Full range of everything that you need for Caravans, even if you are rebuilding an old wreck. I couldn't say anything negative about this store.
