This is a beautiful spot for evening outings. The kids can have a blast at the play area with plenty of rides, while you can savor a BBQ at the well-equipped station. The park is impeccably maintained and clean, making it an ideal place for a picnic. If you enjoy walking or jogging, there's a track around the park for your exercise routine. The breathtaking view of the Story Bridge adds to the charm, and you can even catch a ferry from the park corner to the other side of the river. As night falls, the decorated and lit trees create a delightful atmosphere that lifts your mood. It's a perfect blend of recreation and scenic beauty.
Great park with beautiful views. Maritime themed playground, undercover picnic tables and toilets. Fabulous location for family events, although parking on the weekend may be tricky.
It is a beautiful picnic place in the city, beside the river with city view. There is also a kid's playground and bbq. The last time I went there, the table was dirty and there was someone leave a note there saying some tables were reserved for a birthday party, didn't know it is a thing that you can reserve a public table in a park?!
Great historic Park in the heart of Brisbane to enjoy by day or night. It has many seating areas, large lawn space for sport and recreation, bbqs, sculptures and fantastic views of Story Bridge and the river and city.
Homeless people camp here indefinitely with zero enforcement from the city. It's sad to see the city willfully allow for the deterioration of such a nice park otherwise.
