Beautiful park on the Brisbane River for an October festival BBQ. Only problem was that none of the 4 BCC elec BBQs worked. Fortunately the cold beer made up for the uncooked bratwurst.
Mowbray Park is a nice grassy park with lots of large trees at East Brisbane, on the Brisbane River. Some free BBQ's and picnic tables for a family gathering. Nice for a stroll. Lovely lights that change in the trees at night. Has a popular kids playground. Public toilets available, can be dirty at times, although are usually cleaned most mornings. Parking available but can get quite busy. .
My favorite park so far! Beautiful river and Story Bridge view, lots of shed of trees, big playground, picnic tables, bbq area. The best part is the night lights all over the trees that make the park special
Very calm and cool place to enjoy Brisbane’s summer days. On top of that you can enjoy the light surrounding the area which is the main attraction of the park. Similarly, we can enjoy family get together as the park has got BBQ station. Furthermore, there is playground for the kids to enjoy.
A small, but pretty park with a children's designated play area & amenities block. Great views of the Brisbane river & a ferry terminal with a carpark. There's a war memorial in a corner facing the busy road. Plenty of huge shady trees & picnic tables with beautiful river views
