Nice spot, lots of open spaces. Plenty of people enjoying a picnic or playing a game of soccer. But good luck finding a park, the downside of being so popular is everyone wants to be there!
Lovely restaurant in front of the old power station with amazing views across the river, the park behind the power station is lovely with fantastic views with the city skyline.nIf you go as it's going dusk you will see the bats flying in the park.
Very good spot to picnic and chill on weekend with the Jacaranda season now October. The park is full of purple flower. A lot of space for everyone and pet-friendly Really love this beautiful park !!! The car park always full so better come by public transport.
The park is extremely pretty and large enough to have your private space, would love more flowers for taking photos, the jacaranda this spring is a must-watched, wear a purple dress and come here guys.nHowever, the bathroom should be cleaner.
Month of visit: August 2024nnI went here with my mother and daughter and we had a great time. I was curious to see the rose garden here because my mom loves roses so much and yes the roses were stunning!nThis park is huge and pretty busy, good for your kids to run around, but I couldn’t find any playground - CMIIW, though.nnThe roses were the main attraction for us; the pink ‘rosa’ smelled so nice, like we were in a perfume store! It’s a nice place to visit, but the downside for us was not too many shades, so it was a bit frustrating to deal with the heat on an afternoon. Phew!
