BBQs available, picnic tables, lovely outlook onto the majestic Brisbane River. Great for a rest stop in the middle of a bike ride, or gentle promenade. Frequent spot for local homeless folk, who can be friendly enough during the day time, but at best avoided in the evening if there's been a bit of public alcohol consumption.

I was there on a Marshalling point for the Darkness to Daylight 100km marathon. The area was brightly lit and well patrolled.

Beautiful place with barbeque facilities, suitable for a group with a numbers of people. The Brisbane city view from this angle offers different perspective.

Kurilpa Point Park and pedestrian bridge are great places to view the city from, especially during river fireworks.
