BBQs available, picnic tables, lovely outlook onto the majestic Brisbane River. Great for a rest stop in the middle of a bike ride, or gentle promenade. Frequent spot for local homeless folk, who can be friendly enough during the day time, but at best avoided in the evening if there's been a bit of public alcohol consumption.

I was there on a Marshalling point for the Darkness to Daylight 100km marathon.
The area was brightly lit and well patrolled.

Beautiful place with barbeque facilities, suitable for a group with a numbers of people.
The Brisbane city view from this angle offers different perspective.
