I had a great experience with Daniel Steiner from Capital Lawyers. He was always attentive and answered any questions I had. We mainly dealt via email which I really liked which outlined exactly where my case was up to and we both knew what we needed to do throughout the case. I was very happy with the outcome.

To give this lot a star would be a lie. They take your money, do not present your case to the barrister, if he is to be believed, will not answer any of your questions, do not seek information or clarification on any point after you have met them once and once only in some wasteland at the rear end of Byron Bay, and then when 3 other lawyers inform you that your case was "statute barred and unmaintainable" they totally ignore your letter as does the lying, feckless Legal Services Commissioner. Duty of care, responsibility and accountability are what lawyers demand from their victims. Together with judges, bankers and politicians this group is above the law.

Capital handled my recent conveyance well and competently and at a good price.  There were a few minor hiccups but these were dealt with smoothly.  There was good communication and the people I dealt with were good.  I'd go back again.

Used Capital Law for some conveyancing and ended up sacking them half way through due to emails not being responded to and communication in general being woeful.
When I met to meet with them, my lawyer was 15 mins late, didn't apologise, and quickly went through the contract with me as if he was busting to get to lunch instead. My questions went unanswered and I never felt comfortable that they would act in my best interest, due to constantly seeming like the job was a huge amount of effort for them.
Wouldn't recommend at all for convenyancing.
