We couldn't find our car key or spare, so rang these guys up to get keys cut on site. 
They were going to arrive within the hour to cut new keys etc. So booked job and said " see you soon!" . 
I then received a call from a family member who said 
" I'm so sorry, I have your keys " 
I promptly rang the locksmith back told them what had happened and cancelled the job. 
They were great, no problem at all.

I have a house with tenants living in it.  Approx a year ago, a metal framed door couldn't lock with the strike plate on it due to movement of the house, so I had to take the strike plate off.  This was not an ideal solution.  I spoke with handymen, the door supplier and the carpenter who helped build the house, and none of them had a solution that could be done economically (the door supplier had no solution whatsoever).
I then read about trying a locksmith and rang Canberra Locksmiths purely by doing a google search.  I spoke to them earlier this week and advised they could send a locksmith out on Friday at 8.30am.
At 8.30am on Friday, I met Chris from Canberra Locksmiths, who promptly reviewed the issue, slide the strike place in and out of the gap between the door and the door frame (both aluminium) a few times, grabbed a pencil, drew a couple of lines, thought about it for about 2 minutes about the best solution, grabbed his drill,  and went about his work.  5 minutes later, I had a door with a strike place working perfectly and the door locking again.
I am extremely impressed that Chris could look at the issue, work out a solution and get the door back operational as it was intended.  Whilst there was no fuss, it was such a relief as I was extremely frustrated that the only solution appeared to be very expensive options.
Chris clearly has seen this issue many times and was able to get things resolved quickly.
Great service and I now know where I will be going if I have any Locksmith related issues on my house, or the houses we have rented.

Our experience. Needed keys for a door. Thought I would have to throw the door out. My wife rang them, they helped her unload the door from the car and we had two keys at a fair price within the hour. For me a great job.
