Excellent low budget campervans rental. The vans are usually older vehicles sometimes second hand from other rentals. However the machines are very reliable and well maintained. Personally I like the fact that the guys are not too picky about little scratches that happen easily when you use the vans.

Front tire exploded driving 100km/h. Tires on vehicle far below safety standards. Spare tire far below safety standards too. Stuck hours in desert found a motel in a village and back window smashed by locals. Camperman refuses to take any responsibility and wants to charge me for everything even though I had to cut my trip short and stay at motels all due to their extreme negligence. Very dangerous!! Do not hire here. Not even the slightest bit of courtesy. Also van very old, noisy airconditioning and generally lousy features. Shocked this is even allowed am taking my complaints to the authorities with my lawyer at this point as camperman is horrendously rude and they are clearly putting people's life at danger.

My wife and I rented a Juliette hightop from Camperman for our Melbourne to Sydney road trip. The Juliette is a newer model than the Jade. It was clean, ran well, and included everything we needed in the price. The road tolls are included, too, as well as full insurance. The reception was efficient. We had a great experience!

We traveled as a couple in the Jade 3 Hightop from Sydney to Melbourne. Price-wise, everything was covered. We didn't pay extra for full insurance like you have to with other campervan companies. Road tolls were covered. There was no one-way fee for dropping the campervan off in Melbourne. The staff were efficient. Everything worked and we went with the budget model. Our overall experience was excellent for the price.

I will echo Tina's review below. The service at Camperman 273 Elizabeth Street was friendly and quite fast. Our Paradise Family 5 Campervan was a great van and we had brilliant time. It wasn't new though (450,000 km!) but I was told that the engine was new. It worked very well and was super easy to drive. It was clean and all the bed linen and sleeping bags were very clean (I'd even say new). The fridge worked well but it was old to be honest and barely clean - would probably deserves a good cleaning. No damage to the van so my deposit was refunded a week later.
