Just called in this afternoon to get a couple of photos printed for Mother’s Day. What I thought might be a little bit pesky for me was swiftly taken care of by Casey on the back counter. Despite it being even more hassle than I imagined, he stepped in, gave me the best advice and then printed everything out so I didn’t have to do the self service thing. Super helpful although I’m sure it was a bit irritating - especially so close to closing time but I am one satisfied customer. In fact every time I’ve availed myself of the Camera House I’ve been totally happy. Good job guys!
I am happy for others that have had good experience here, and I have had in the past. However, the passport photos taken for my wife some time back were rejected and had to be re-taken. I dropped in today for some ID photos. The two staff were busy, a few customers waiting, and the boss, was in the back office chatting with someone about footy. He made eye contact with me, but did not come out to see if he could help. As someone who has run a couple of small businesses, I find his behaviour very negative. If the boss doesn't need another customer, I don't need Camera House. Last visit was this morning. Out.
The customer service I received was exceptional. They assisted me twice in 2 areas of obtaining passport photos with courtesy, professionalism , expertise and extensive knowledge of passport photo requirements.
Absolutely terrible. Had my passport photos taken here, no disclaimer was given other than when I had paid for them. Had a look they had wrong colouring and way to dark said they would redo them free of charge if rejected. They were rejected so I went back for a refund as I had the correct photos taken by Aust. Post. The manager was rude and didn't care about customer service at all. Will never shop there again and if you know anyone who needs passport or visa photos DO NOT GO HERE.
The staff have been amazing and gone the extra mile to help me out with any camera queries.. I have had prints and canvas prints done at CameraHouse Noosaville and the print quality has been fantastic. It is always a pleasure to visit the shop and chat with the friendly, helpful staff.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, but you must regard their store policy and respect that if you are not happy or change your mind they will not issue a refund. I see a lot of negative reviews with this as a main point but honestly in Noosa this issue is from the multitude of tourists who will purchase an item only to return it a few days later saying "not happy" after it has served their purpose. It happens to all of the retailers in this town and the people doing it need to stop. I'm sure there are some genuinely unhappy customers but the majority are just cranky that they made the mistake of not noting their return policy. Respect!
Advice can be condescending and rude. Happy to take your money but don't want to know you if you have problems. Officeworks has better customer service... Edit: I have changed my review from 1 to 4 stars as it seems standards of customer service are improving and it's unfair for a review from bad experiences years ago to continue affecting this business
Bailey was so helpful, we came in today looking for a GoPro and he knew everything about them. You could tell he is a confident, smart young man and we really appreciated his advise. Very impressed with the passion and knowledge of the staff.
Can't fault the service or attention to detail displayed by the staff at Camera House Noosaville. Ian and the team certainly know their camera gear, and now that they've added Apple products - what more could you want in one place : Very happy that I'm able to grab what I need for my Mac / iPhone etc here while checking out / picking up new camera gear. Ian helped me select suggest the right product while I was looking for a new tripod and I couldn't be happier with the product he sold me. Does the job and then some - loads of features. I'm impressed that he took the time to consider my needs and helped me find the right product. Plenty of "bigger and better" products he could have sold me, but he chose the right one for the job - not his sales quota. Have recently taken a MacBook to Camera House Noosaville after a dodgy repair elsewhere, and found Ian to most accommodating and prompt with the solution to this problem. Can't fault the service for efficiency, accuracy and promptness. MacBook is back to 100% thanks to Ian and his team. Today I dropped in to buy a flash in a hurry for an urgent job. Simone was prompt, professional and followed my lead - as I knew what I wanted. She didn't push me to buy something I didn't want, but was thoughtful to suggest good rechargeable batteries - which I know I'll use. Again - can't fault the service and professionalism. Camera House Noosaville gets 10/10 from me.
I purchased a USB cord with a price label of $5.95, was charged $6.95 and when I asked for the difference I was told that kids have priced the stock and the store was not responsible for the incorrect labelling wrongand that I was not entitled to a refund. I pointed out that consumer law actually entitled me to get the item for free but that I only wanted the dollar and still they would not give me a refund. It’s only a dollar I hear you say, but what else are they doing this on. How many other people have been ripped off by these people. worst customer service ever!!! I will be calling consumer affairs on principle.
