The petrol pump kept stopping the flow of petrol for me every so often and it sounded like it happened to the man on the other side of me as well. When I went to go inside after pumping petrol, the store clerk brought up that my pump kept stopping and I was expecting him to apologise for that etc, as another pump nearby looked like it had an out of order sign and perhaps they were just having issues that day. Personally I wasn’t even going to bring it up as I understood it wasn’t his fault at all. However I was met with him saying that the reason why that kept happening was because there is technology that tracks if people are using their phone while pumping petrol and will stop the flow if it detects a phone is being used. I didn’t believe him as I’d been coming to location for months and never had anything like this happen. And I do not believe that the 65 to 70-year-old man whose petrol was also malfunctioning was on his phone anyways I didn’t have enough evidence to argue back so I just asked if it was new technology to which he said yes and then I paid and left. I then called head office to ask if this new technology was real, and the lady was very confused and said that they did not have any technology like that at all, so the man just lied to me and probably manually turned off my pump just because he was on a power trip. Very strange customer service. I think he was just looking for a fight that I did not give. Unfortunately this is the closest location for me, but I don’t do not wish to go back due to extremely poor customer service. This happened on Father’s Day at around 1 PM and he was the only employee in the store at the time. I am expecting someone to contact me about this experience.

Standard Ampol station, plenty of petrol options. This location always seems to be cheaper than the others in the neighbourhood. Their coffee machine is sometimes out of order, which is unfortunate especially when you expect that from an Ampol station. The attendants are hit and miss, some are friendly, others are a bit standoffish. Lots of stock for confectionary and food. Only one main entrance and exit so be sure to follow the signs, unless it’s late at night with no one queuing.
Had the best experience here, the guy who appear to be of indian descent is a really nice guy and is super kind. He is the reason I will consider giving sales to this store out of all other stores in the area. 26/12/23 at 11:50 pm his shift was dunno his name. Make sure you give him a raise
They refuse to let you use your Rewards Card and RACV card so you get zero discounts! I would have gone somewhere else but had already filled up!
