So much to do!! Lots of beautiful rooms to rent out and use. Lots of space to read, including a sound proof quiet lounge. Art gallery upstairs! Disabled entrance and elevators. Kids play area, cafe! What more could you ask for? It was amazing! This is what tax money should be spent on.

I'm visiting Caloundra and have been to the old library  in the past.nI was so happy  to visit  the new library.nWhat a  fantastic design,nwith beautiful,  intresting ,relaxing  open and calming spaces.  I Love the external spaces with the old trees included in the design of the gardens .nMy 2 grandsons 2 and 4 enjoyed the toys and games .nThe staff are wonderfully helpful  and friendly.nnMy next visit  was on my own . I sat quietly  on the beautiful  timber steps dividing the two levels. So many people and groups enjoying  the space  , mothers and babies,  grandparents  and toddlers,  seniors.nCongratulation  Caloundra  council  for a incredible  environmental for all  to enjoy.

The new library is awesome, they have a separate area for reading or for get the kid play. There is a cafe as well.nnAfter closing time there is an area that's stays open until 8pm to allow people to sit in a sheltered area for reading and charging their phones and enjoy aircon.

New public library is a beautiful space and talking of space, there is a lot of it. Takes a while to find things but staff are currently on hand to direct you. Nice private rooms downstairs for various community activities. Great that the kid's section is on a separate floor now. Not sure who set out the shelving in the Fiction section but it does not flow logically in my library trained opinion. Staff are helpful to a point, by giving you enough information to do it yourself. Not sure what they do all day to keep themselves busy as everything is pretty much self serve. Books are in good condition and reserved items are easy to collect. Excellent toilet facilities with a nice cafe located on ground floor.
