Saw a show there and it was great. On arrival the power went out all over which made it a tad hot and sticky before going in. Couldn't understand why such an important place didn't have backup power.

Even though this venue was built many years ago, it still has a modern look and feel. It is very clean and has ample amenities. As my children always say "the Cairns Convention Centre looks like it was built for a bigger city like Brisbane. It looks so 'flash' ." A world class venue suitable for a variety of events.
