As I'm quite new to road bike riding I have recently upgraded to a new
carbon road bike from an urban style bike.As I have back issues I've
already noticed a(positive) difference from the two bikes.The guys(Marie & Ben)were very helpful with their knowledge and experience in helping me decide which way to go.Even after having a tyre issue when the bike 
wasn't even a week old they got onto it quickly and swiftly and sorted it out for me.Very much appreciated.Thanks guy's.In the process
of looking for my bike I pretty much went to every other bike shop and found that other's for the exception of one other shop didn't give me much time or advice (particularly concerning my back issue)
If u want good advice knowledge and experience I would recommend u go and see these guy's if u are in the process of getting a new bike of any kind.

Got a carbon fiber road bike; a lot more for the money than I expected. Happy with customisation system, very comfortable to ride.
Great customer service has led to me buying lots more from there, dammit. 
Not the cheapest bikes, but definitely best value.

Would highly recommend Cairns Bicycle Works to anyone looking to purchase a bike or any cycling related equipment. Marie and Colin are both very experienced, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have regardless of your skill level. 

Purchased my bike a year ago and have been in numerous times for services etc and every time I received excellent service at a very reasonable price and got back on the bike in no time at all. 

10/10 and will definitely continue to do business with this great store.

Colin and Marie built me a triathlon bike. Went out of their way to customize the bike to suit me. Excellent result. My bike times are so much faster. I am comfortable and love being able to compete.I won my
age group in the coral coast Olympic yesterday. The comment i got was have you got a rocket up your bum couldnt keep up with you on that bloody bike. Love it. Thanks cairns bicycle works out to have some fun on this little beauty in some more triathlons . Winner.
