Phenomenal service from Steve & the team. I have been to other bike shops but have never experienced such prompt and thorough experiences. They are genuinely here to help their customers and I feel confident leaving my bike and faith in their hands! Eassssy 5 stars.
Will never go to this shop again. Bought my son's and my daughters first bike from here years ago, bought my bike also but never again. Over three weeks ago I dropped my bike to be fixed, the staff member went through a quote form and marked off what it needed and priced it at $200. I agreed and left. Over three weeks later I get a call this morning from a man rambling about how the bike is going to be expensive and did I really want to fix it, my bike cost $1,000 so yes, I wanted to fix it. I said I had already had a quote and I accepted it but rudely said that it would now cost $265 instead. When asked about the original quote he replied he had no other information about my bike and didn't know anything about the other quote or who I spoke to. I questioned their procedures and asked why it had taken three weeks to tell me this. He became very irate and ended up hanging up on my ear. I went in there and asked to speak to the manager, he was standing there with three other staff including the guy that hung up on my face. Tried to talk to the manager, asked why I stood there over three weeks before and went through a quote with the other guy but apparently that was an estimate. Asked why it took so long he said they were so busy, mind you there were 4 of them standing there talking to each other when I arrived lol. I was not happy at all but what can you do? Already got my bike in at Trinity Cycle works, they were very nice and the quote which is fixed was cheaper at $180 so win win. I will be buying all our future bikes and recommend every else do the same from either Trinity Cycle works or Giants Cairns! Just saw the reply from my review, and notices some other reviews with similar issues to what I had lol. And the response is not worth replying to but no, there was not an issue with the reception on the call, your erratic bike repair person hung up on my face. Rude
These guys, one young chap in particular are amazing, truly. I'm an interstate traveller and I've dropped in off the street and they sorted all my cycling issues TWICE! As I said to them when I'm next back in Cairns they'll be my goto! HIGHLY recommend them!
Don't do it to yourself. Typical Cairns customer service from Chris. I emailed asking if specific items could be ordered in and even included a screenshot with SKU #s, received a reply saying yes, give us money. So I went into store on their very next business day Which isn't as easy as it sounds for me only for him to stuff around and tell me they can't get the items in. Well done! Clearly didn't even bother looking at the attachment.
