Great service and friendly staff. Very clean and not very loud. The food was lovely. A little to much salt and herbs for me but my husband loved it. We had the seafood plate and it was good value. I'd go back there to try more of the menu.
Ordered the Open Souvlaki and calamari meze. When I went to the store for pick up I had to stay for 5-10 minutes as it was not ready. They gave me a complimentary dessert because of it. I wasn't fussed waiting 10 minutes but I thought that was a nice business gesture. Moving on to food positives were tasted good, calamari was cooked perfectly, chips were really good. If the calamari had some cracked pepper would have added a nice flavour balance. Overall will go back.
Best Souvlaki in the area! Picked up 2 Souvas and chippies for lunch. It came to a total of $40.50. Restaurant is trendy. Place is super clean, organised. Service was friendly and helpful also super quick. Now to the food. Chips were cooked nicely with beautiful rosemary throughout. Souva ingredients spot on, nice salad and garlic sauce with what felt like a nice thick homemade tortilla. Lamb stole my heart. Juicy suculent, full of greek flavour. Good value for money. I will be back when I want myself a taste of greece. 9/10. Great job team!
This is an amazing authentic local Greek restaurant / taverna. I would usually goto oakleigh and even then chances of it being this good are 50/50. Chips cooked to perfection with amazing herbs. Tzatziki from the gods and all the charcol slow cooked meats you need to complete this amazing meal Pro tip: Saginaki and white bait make for amazing starters. We will be back and so should you. Support local.
Very tasty meat, shared this portion between two of us. Tzatziki was super tasty, loved the big chunks of cucumber. The only negative was how cold it was inside the restaurant, not sure if it is usually like this as it was my first time but we did feel like the cooler was on.
A glorious Greek kitchen, serving the most delicious and toothsome food one has had the pleasure to consume. Fantabulous staff, making sure our positive experience is maintained. * Excellent and authentic Greek food. * Cheerful staff. * Warm atmosphere I recommend the Blue Olive Platter with Johnnie Walker Black.
First time we visited Blu Olive for my Dads bday, we went for lunch, it was absolutely amazing. Loved everything;from the decor, the aromas, service to the food, was all fantastic. Was recommended by a past customer who enjoyed it and l can understand why. It's now my parents favourite restaurant!
The saganaki was amazing!!! So so delicious! We also got the spartan platter which was very generous for 2. Although it needed extra dip sauce, which the staff were happy to provide. I also though the chicken was a little fatty and next time will ask for it to be crispy / well don’t. Overall, delicious!
The place has good food but it is rarely open when its opening hours suggest. For example as of writing this review i called a 7:29pm to ask if they were open and they said no despite their official times saying 9pm on a Wednesday. It has the potential to be an excellent place as the food is excellent and the staff is friendly but its alot of hassle to catch them when they are open.
This is my local, solid flavors but the generous servings have declined since opening and now to the point of being stingy. Anyhow, that said the quality and service is second to none, and the chips are to die for.
