We don't want to be complicated, in fact we want to keep our cafe really simple... delectable food, supreme coffee, the "smileyest" service and a comfortable place to enjoy it all. We serve all this up to our customers 7 days from 7am on the prime corner location on Chevron Island.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Alfons a few times now, and every experience has been delightful. On my most recent visit, I decided to try their blueberry muffins, and I was not disappointed. The hot chocolate is rich and comforting, while the eggs Benedict are cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of flavors. It’s clear that Cafe Alfons takes pride in its food, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared.nnThe atmosphere at Cafe Alfons is always warm and inviting. The cafe is filled with friendly locals, creating a sense of community and making each visit feel like a special experience. Though the place is often packed—likely due to its popularity—it never feels too crowded or rushed. There’s always a welcoming vibe, no matter how busy it gets.nnLocated on Chevron Island, directly across from Dicaprio Cafe, Cafe Alfons is a local gem that’s hard to miss. One of my most memorable experiences was discovering that someone had paid for my bill during one visit—a thoughtful gesture that truly made my day.nnCafe Alfons has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I always look forward to my mornings spent there. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t regret it!
I was blown away with the quality of care we had received for our meal this morning. Upon entering the café, we were immediately acknowledged by the lovely staff who made us feel right at home.nThe menu had a variety of options, accompanied by great proportion sizes. The wait time was exceptional considering how busy the place was!nI couldn’t recommend this café enough. The staff are super friendly, kind and patient. Our meal was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was gorgeous.
Just a quick stop on a rainy morning, the German nut cake was yummy, freshly pressed juice and especially the friendly attentive staff makes a wonderful start of the day. Lovely atmosphere at the corner, highly recommended:
Cafe Alfons is an absolute gem! The menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of dishes that are both delicious and beautifully presented. The service is truly amazing—friendly, attentive, and quick to make you feel right at home. It’s a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a great cafe experience. Can’t wait to visit again!
We were looking for a decent place to have brunch. From the moment we walked in till we finished eating we were provided with 5 star service. Staff were friendly and attentive to any questions we had. The food here was great and I was surprised with the big portion size. Meals here were definitely worth the price. This place is definitely worth a visit. We will be coming here whenever we come to Brisbane.
