The food is great, and so is the coffee. Staff are friendly - but - (and we've been coming here for years, on and off) we always find that we have to call a waitress over to place our order and without fail get a surprised look, as though it's a shock that we've been sitting there for 15 minutes in the hope of ordering some food. It's pretty typical of the Gold Coast to have lots of staff running around, looking across the restaurant, but failing to meet the eyes of any diner keen on actually ordering - so they're not alone there. Over the many years we've frequented the place, it doesn't seem to change.

Excellent service and venue, nice and air-conditioned on a hot QLD day! It was well staffed, clean and was a nice restoration of an old home, decor was quite chic. Food was fantastic also (we had the breakfast burgers and watermelon shakes). I feel the price point is a little high but definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

The morning tea was beautifully set up, and the food plentiful and delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful and endeavoured to meet all of our requests. All in all the small memorial gathering we held for our relative was far more enjoyable than we had thought it would be. Thank you to all the Bumbles staff.

Attentive and courteous service supported by an excellent selection of quality foods. Highly recommend. Buds Beach honey cannot be bettered.

Just love this place. Great staff and good food which is well priced. Real community feel here. Lots of cakes and dinner served on Thursday nights only
