First time here, just recently came from Europe. Must report my very positive experience with this place. Didnt want to sit at first as there was a lot of people but decided to take my chances and was prepared to wait at least half an hour. The staff super busy but very polite and effective. Coffee amazing, what we ordered came like in less than 10min and was delicious, my husband also super happy. Normal prices and definitely think this will be a regular spot for us. Cheers for the manager and the lovely staff that served us, keep up the good work! Anett and Tom from Croatia x

I had the MOT (savoury mince and toast) and my wife had the Mountie (bacon scrambled eggs pancakes with icecream) Sounds weird but she loves it . Massive menu ,friendly efficient staff and nice ambience . Got one at Boondall as well

My husband and I had a rare night out and decided to try Cafe 63 at Chermside. After waiting for staff to notice that we were waiting to be seated at the sign that indicated that's what we needed to do (they were standing behind the counter talking, with a total of about 5 people sitting in the restaurant at the time), the menus we were issued were dirty and torn. Our orders were then taken and I ordered a meal requiring steak. I was asked how I wanted this cooked. I asked for MEDIUM, however when my meal was brought out the steak was a very over cooked well done (no pink at all on the cut section of meat) dry and chewy. My husband had to wait for an extra 10 minutes for his meal to be received (and that was only when he asked where it was). He ordered the pork belly, which was also dry, overcooked and chewy. Having never been to a Cafe 63 before we were bitterly disappointed after having read other reviews. We won't be back.

Went there for a lunch with a colleague, had Dove (from memory) and some drinks. It was supposed to be pasta with halloumi cheese and cherry tomatoes, unfortunately it was everything but the stated. No cherry tomatoes in site and few pieces of halloumi. Tasted dreadful. I only ate the little cheese that was there because I was hungry at the time and they were busy, otherwise I would have returned it. That said, not coming back. Coffee was ok, hence 2 stars.
