I had a great experience at the local cafe Silo in Yandina. The food and my drink was delicious, timed well with a friendly stuff serving me today. I had a chance to chat to the new owner Martin, who is passionate about real food and ingredients he loves and serves to customers. It is fabulous to have this place in our town.
Always a pleasure to feast at Cafe Silo! Friendly staff, delicious food and great wake up coffee! Went today and had a cap on oat milk and the Fresh Greens Smash.
Great range of healthier treats, sweet and savoury with a mouth watering range on the menu. Love their coffee! Happy, friendly staff .
Great coffee and amazing shop combo prices are exactly what you would expect from the quality of the products. Yandi a has a few great places to eat but this one is my fav. Brought a reusable cup which they kindly filled with coffee for free.
After being a customer for years and walking in to find someone new behind the coffee machine made me nervous and turns out I had every right to be. The new staff need to be trained in how to make a good coffee and should not be allowed on the machine until this happens. Tanya makes a great cup keep her on the machine until the others are trained, do it for your customers and your business. On a positive note, food is great and staff are always friendly keep up the great work.
I was really disappointed by my experience of this cafe. The soup I ordered was tasty, but the portion size was ridiculously small. It was no more than a few spoonfuls and it was $15. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was told that it was just because it was a deep bowl. Will not be going back to this place again.
Happened upon Cafe Silo thanks to a quick Google search and really happy with the whole experience. Martin popped us at a dog friendly table and brought our 2 Vizslas a bowl of water. The menu has loads of interesting dishes, all sounding delicious. I opted for the January special, Summer Breakfast Salad and my son had the Belgian waffles. Both great choices and we would order again. The Green Greenie smoothie was also yum, gentle flavour, next time I’ll try the Banana Espresso.
I love this cafe and it has been my go to for some time! Unfortunately we just moved from Yandina and can not support this great cafe as much as we would like to. I would recommend to anyone passing through or just looking for a cafe that will always deliver. Also the brioche is delicious!
Cute and friendly cafe attached to the local organic shop so convenient to have a look around to see the latest greatest healthy foods that are out. I had an ice coffee with no ice cream and they were very nice about the special request. Air conditioning and free wifi is a plus.
Usually serves beautiful well presented food. However very disappointed when my breakfast was served missing the main ingredient, as listed on the menu- poached pear.
