I am half french and my husband is a through and through french man. We were a bit disappointed by this restaurant as although not bad - the attitude of our waitress was like it or lump it. My husband ordered boullabaise (a seafood soup) which is very regionally specific, and it came with the recommendation of the owner! Although good, it was a soup without the soup! Revisited as they called it. My chicken with olives was disappointingly served with cheap tasteless olives. I know that this could sound picky but really if you are going to name a dish after an ingredient, first step is to serve a good quality ingredient . We still had an enjoyable night with our friends but the attitude of both owner and waitress left a bitter taste. It's not somewhere that I would recommend as a good french experience, especially if you have memories of great little french bistrots!

Dropped in yesterday for lunch and right from the word go my partner and I were greeted with a friendly and happy way by the staff. That set the scene for our tasty lunch. First time we've been to a French restaurant and we're wowed by the mix of flavours and options. Would I recommend this establishment....Yes Would I return again....Yes Thank you to them for a great dining experience.

We discovered this restaurant on the last evening of our stay otherwise we would have eaten there again. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service efficient. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The food was great - I had the best steak for a long, long time. The hostess was very happy to accommodate my poor, stumbling French conversation and following the meal her husband, the chef, also appeared - happy to take my compliments and join in some light hearted banter. A thoroughly enjoyable experience,
