Humiliated, embarrassed and singled out by the staff! What should have been a wonderful day for my sisters birthday, and the 9 of us that had booked this trip, ended up being a humiliating and upsetting experience. I was not allowed on the boat as I was wearing thongs - fair enough, I had missed the memo and was prepared to stay on shore. My daughter was then told no, because her flat shoes did not have a back strap - not in the memo- and my other sister also, as she was wearing slip on wedges. As we stood on the shore we watched others boarding with board shorts, thongs, stilettos - all banned also. (Clearly selective observance of the rules) The staff were appalling and humiliated and embarrassed us in front of everyone else. They refused to engage in any conversation regarding a refund. Regarding safety standards, as I was advised my thongs contravened same, stilettos are surely more dangerous than a smart pair of thongs. I have no doubt that ACCC will be taking a look at how they conduct their business.

Had an event booked for the Catalina, and paid $1500 deposit. Three months before unfortunately it had to be cancelled, and they refused to pay back any of the deposit, or attempt to offer anything back for us at all. Very poor I thought, three months was plenty of time to organize another event or just a regular Saturday night Cruise. Not happy at all.

Deliberately didn’t wear stillettos or thongs but was told I couldn’t come on board in my flat sandals as they didn’t have a back strap. The mangager was blunt and rude but then let several other girls on who were wearing the same shoes as me and even two girls in 3 inch high stilettos . Don’t waste your time or money.....

What great value, 3hrs on the water up to the lake system accompanied by live acoustic music, a well stocked bar & the best staff to make sure your night's a hit. Highly recommended
