The only place that does tequila tuesday basics, is mexican themed and has three levels to chill on the top level has another bar. Bouncers are friendlier then most on flinders and service is speedy, i definitely recommend.
I love mexican food so decided to try out this restaurant while I was in town on business. I wasn't disappointed. The service was very good. Drinks waiter came and took my order and then the food waitress took that order as well. Both arrived in good time and as for the meal, it was beautiful. Very nice. It was nice to sit up high and look up the street to the marina. I will certainly be eating there when I am next in town.
Was unsure about this place when my girlfriend and I walked in for lunch. Couldn't have been more wrong! The service was quick and friendly. We both had pulled pork burgers, and fair dinkum were they good! Incredible selection of craft beer on tap too!
The service was great & the food was delicious and good sized serves. The tables were wiped down with a cloth that stinks, so they stink, both upstairs and downstairs. The corridor down to the toilets absolutely stinks of urine! Had to hold my breath walking to the toilet, a friend had to go downstairs to use those loo's. Not good!
Great food and laid back atmoaatmos. Our favourite is their sweet potato fries . They definitely have the best we have experienced . Steaks are great on the menu too and you could snag a very good view up stairs over the evening with a Flinders St view .
The venue was well decorated and the staff were helpful, although they did forget a few things from our order which was quickly corrected. The food was quite nice, but there could have been a few more options - it was a little disappointing that some of the foods we would have liked as mains were only available as entrees. We'll be back again when we want another Mexican meal.
Went here for a night out a while ago, tall red head behind the bar had terrible service, my mates and I stood infront of her waiting to order and every time a new person would walk over she would serve them first, also was giving out free drinks to a couple of young fellas next to us. Other than her service the venue is great
We went on a Tuesday and called in advance to make a booking but we're told we didn't need one. Upon arriving no we didn't have to wait, but we were not told about the drastically reduced menu. 3 food items in total. That was annoying but the food was relatively good for the price.
We had dinner here a few nights ago. This was our first time here and we decided to order a few starters to share rather than mains. We had potato skins, jalapeño peppers and chilli dip. All were pretty good. Great place to enjoy pre or post dinner drinks. A few stairs to climb but fabulous sitting at bench with beverage in hand on a balmy Tville winter's night was about 23C.
Cocktails are usually nice, although service can be extremely slow when busy. The food, especially fajitas and chicken crisper, is usually very good. Reasonable value for money, but not the best value in town.
