I caught the train from Caboolture to Roma St on Wednesday morning and the staff could not have been more helpful. The lady who helped me on the train went out of her way to be helpful. I wish l had gotten her name to thank her personally but l wasn't thinking. Big thank you Caboolture.
Getting stabbed here is an above average outcome. To fix this place, I would reccomend complete destruction.
Still a bloody joke. There must be no way to tell if a train is going to have to use a different platform to pull up at. Because the staff don't seem to know until they see the train. Quick everyone run up the stairs. In this day and age are we really doing this. Even the live update today was changed maybe 2 minutes before arrival.
Clean station. Lovely smiley station staff, ticket office and on the ground. Very happy to assist when we're a bit flummoxed. Thankfully they have a lift for when the stairs get too much. Bus connections there also very good. Well done.
No parking available even on a quiet day, trains simply not arriving and late when they do. Could have driven to Brisbane and back in the time waiting/looking for park. Definitely will drive until QLD transport has a complete overhaul. Waste of time trying to do the right thing and take public transport.
If you expect to find a parking spot, you may as well by a lottery ticket. Many times when a train is meant to meet another train here, the connecting train will leave early or your train is slightly late, meaning a 1 hour or more wait at one of the nastiest train stations in Queensland. It would be much nicer if they had benches that were nice to sit in.
They usually mess up which platform the early morning trains are coming to. Had to walk up and over the stairs twice because the instructors weren't clear. Usually busy here and sometimes fights break out here, thankfully police are over in time.
If I got to choose the name of the station, it would be called Junky Central. anywhere you look on any day there is a junky itching to start on you. and god forbid you go there without cigarettes because someone is bound to get mad when you tell them "no you can't have a durry"
The staff here are superheroes ‍
Extra kudos to Caboolture Station staff on Saturday, which was a 37c day, handing out bottles of cold water to travellers on the trains. A wonderful and welcome surprise!
