I had been warned that staff were not very friendly here - turned out to be right. 2 staff obviously busy organising click & collect with another on the phone - who after the call finished made it very clear that she wasn't happy with the caller. So unprofessional. Man who 'served' me was abrupt & rude 'pay here', 'receipt'. I understand it's a crazy time of year & the public can be rude but don't take it out on other customers. Won't return.
I have given BWS Southport Park, Southport Park Shopping Centre a 3-star review would have been 5 star as the staff and stock available is/has been top notch since the arrival of Liquorland in the came centre. Tonight however, my partner was about to enter the store to purchase our usual and considerable wine and beer order, but was abruptly ushered away and told to come back in 10-15 minutes later. Suffice to say, after a big day work, he went elsewhere.
As with all BWS stores, the staff here were friendly and knowledgeable, the shop well stocked and easy to navigate.
Was good until I was rudely asked if I had paid for items in front of the whole store and all its customers. Yes I did, your colleague served me right next to you. Cheers
Definitely a great visit to BWS today as a pensioner I was treated as a special guest by TEGAN who advised me on a special for a friend who is also a pensioner and was very happy with the guality for the price. Definitely 10stars PJ.
Friendly staff and easy access to what you want or even staff will get it for you. Good place and you can use your rewards card there too.
Good range and very friendly staff.
Great specials on wine and beer every week.
