It’s conveniently located but the wine selection is bad. Perhaps you should educate me, I thought that you had to look over 25, not 30. Where is this new rule? What’s next, you gotta look 40? Did you know the shop across the road says 25 not this 30 rule High staff turnover rate, they don’t recognise you after years of shopping at the same store. I understand you gotta check ID but it almost becomes offensive when you have come here multiple times and they think you’re a teen every time.
As a self confessed 'expert' I have NEVER experiend anything like it note; I worked for LL for 8 years in any store I have ever walked into. Greated from the moment I walked in and all three staff approached me offering assistance - maybe is was mystery shopper week?? I liked it either way.
The customer service assistant curly haired bloke makes dealing with this premises a pleasant experience, even if they're out of stock of my favourite bourbon lol
Decent selection not too pricey. However if you need a decent or really nice whisky or tequila nice aswell
Customer service was woeful. Visited 5 mins before closing as we were unaware of the time. Was greeted with "you have two minutes and then you have to leave". Asked about a specific item and he replied with "we don't have it so if you need something else look faster". As we exited, another group tried to enter and were met with "we're shut" and the door slammed in their face. Horrible service from a bloke that just did not seem to either care or appreciate he has a job serving people. I hope management sorts his extremely poor attitude out as it was obvious it caused some distress to others.
Great service and a wide variety of choice.
Went to get some wine for a birthday present. Staff eagerly and professionally assessed what I was after then pointed me in the right direction so satisfying my preferences and my budget The quality of the chosen wine Brown Brothers did not disappoint. Left my keys on the counter and two hours later found that they had been sent to centre management and the staff member in question had actually checked the tapes to identify the owner. Then referred me to centre management and before I arrived had phoned to confirm I was on my way. Now that is customer service.
I would give the selection three stars. If you’re looking for more specialty liqueurs or beverages, you may not find them here. They do tend to have most of the basics and a few nicer selections as well. Ben is a FANTASTIC employee. He always gives great recommendations and has been extremely helpful during every visit in helping me choose new products or alternatives. Overall 3 stars for selection, 5 stars for Ben.
Nice & newly renovated with an ok layout, a bit of wasted space in the middle. Also, limited fridge space for wines. Not many brands are stocked. Often have to go elsewhere to get what I need.
I was looking for a specific Pinot Grigio which they do not stock, but bought an Italian one which I will try and see if I like it. If so I will buy it here in future. Very helpful guy in the store.
