Story

Burke and Hamilton was established in Tamworth in 1986. It has always been and still is an Australian Family Owned business. In April, 2003 it was taken over by a family company involving the current owners the Brooks Family. In 2012 the Brooks Family took total control over the business and it is now managed and run by Paul Brooks. Over time, our staff has changed but we still boast the most caring, understanding and sympathetic staff who will carry out the wishes of our clients to the best of their ability. We are aware that we only get one chance to carry out the wishes of each client and with this in mind we attend to every arrangement and funeral in detail. We treat all our deceased with the utmost dignity and privacy, as though they were family. Our mortuary care is second to none. We are completely open to all our customers, guiding them through the arranging process and informing them of costs and options involved.
