When my Mum died recently, just prior to Christmas and all the associated public holidays, Victor and his staff were nothing short of outstanding. In an unpleasant time, their compassion, service and help were second to none.
What an outstanding organisation! Christie and the team leave no stone unturned… The care and compassion is second to none! During a highly emotional time - they were able to accommodate everything that was required to making our Mum have the most beautiful Farewell. The chapel is located in a most tranquil and peaceful venue. If I could give six stars, I would! Thank you to all within your organisation…. If you are requiring personal and dedicated assistance then you will not be disappointed!
When my mother recently passed, the team at Victor Rullis Funerals were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, even when I kept forgetting things and changing my mind. They were kind, supportive, professional and caring throughout the entire process. They helped us to navigate the whole Covid situation and despite restrictions we had a beautiful send off for my mum. We brought in music equipment to play songs and they were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It is the second time we have used Victor, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I felt like we were being looked after by a caring family and I know that my mum was in the best hands and treated with respect throughout the whole process. Thank you to the team at Victor Rullis for making a very difficult and sad time so much easier. Special thanks to Kristy in the office for dealing with my repeated emails when I kept adding things I had forgotten and to Matt for talking on the day, you captured the true spirit of my mum in your words. I am a local Doctor and have known the Rullis family since 2000 and they run a very professional and compassionate funeral service. Everyone speaks very highly of their service. The extended family are very well respected in the community and they are lovely and genuine people. I have never heard a bad word about their service. Victor Rullis heads the operation but all of the staff are professional and capable of helping local families arrange funeral services for their loved ones.
We lost our dear Mum, Aili Smith, quite suddenly and unexpectedly in August 2021 in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. A difficult time for arranging many of life's celebrations including a funeral. Especially as Mum had many friends and relatives scattered around Australia and the World unable to attend her funeral in the middle of a lockdown. Live streaming by Victor Rullis provided a technical Covid-safe solution allowing all to be present and enabled several personal tributes on the day. Mum had let us know that she wanted her funeral to be handled by Victor Rullis in Coffs Harbour including that she wanted to be buried at Karangi Lawn Cemetery from the onsite chapel. From the initial contact with Victor to finalising all the official and other necessary processes and paperwork the team ensured the funeral was streamlined and managed professionally, efficiently, respectfully and compassionately. We'd like to thank all involved but especially the celebrant, Betsy White, Victor Rullis and the key members of the well oiled Rullis team including Christie, Matt and Phil for all their help, knowledge and skill at this difficult time for us all. You all just knew what to do and say at every stage. It is greatly appreciated. Betsy took the time to speak with several members of the family and to listen to our stories about our Mum and grandmother to ensure she had a good understanding of Mum. Betsy captured and reflected Mum in all she said and did at the service on 18 August 2021. Everything just seemed to happen and to flow. There were no surprises and I have no hesitation in recommending Victor Rullis Funeral Services. Mum would have approved. Thank you.
Highly recommend Victor and his team. They were accommodating, respectful and managed the covid restrictions so well for our large group. Everything went very smoothly. The celebrant Matt spoke with compassion and managed to captured the memory of my grandma beautifully.

We cannot recommend Victor Rullis and Mathew highly enough for their professionalism and sensitivity in handling my fathers service. They seemed to know exactly what we needed and we didn't have to worry about the finer details allowing us to focus on saying farewell. We loved that they were very open to our ideas and offered us great options without feeling like we were pressured in anyway. Mathew is wonderful to deal with and we instantly knew he was right to conduct the ceremony, he has great skill and perception. The day itself could not have been more perfect thanks to everybody at Victor Rullis. The ceremony was conducted in the chapel at the Karangi garden cemetery. The gardens are so peaceful and breathtaking in Autumn. What a difference you have made to our family at such a difficult time. We cannot thank you enough!
Phil and the team at Victor Rullis were excellent in every way. They enabled us to organise a beautiful farewell in NSW and then transfer for interstate burial. At the saddest of times, they were there for us: responsive, patient, flexible, honest and transparent in their charging - can't thank you enough team.
Vic and his team have presided over the funerals of both my mother and father in the last 3 years. I do not have enough superlatives to describe the care and support we received from Vic and his beautiful team. We were shown the greatest respect from our first point of contact. We could not find any fault. I would highly recommend this friendly and professional 5 gold star service.
