Professional and caring from start to finish. They are a local family business, embedded in the community of Newcastle and the Hunter and it shows. Their sincerity is genuine and compassionate but they remain organised and professional from the moment you ring them to the time you say goodbye. We were very pleased with the presentation of the program brochure and with how they brought life to some very old black and whites for the pictorial montage of my Mum's life. Our celebrant ran the show without a hitch; again getting that delicate balance of professionalism and compassion just right. The onus was very much on accepting our loss but at the same time celebrating a diverse life of perseverance, humour and spontaneity. Mum would definitely have put Pettigrew's on her Christmas card list.

The funeral service I attended for my childhood friend was beautiful, she was treated with dignity and respect at all times, a fitting tribute for a true fighter. I only have great things to say about the team at Pettigrew Family Funerals and have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone looking for the best for their loved ones.

I have been to a number of funerals run by the team at Pettigrews now & I can honestly say I would never choose any other funeral company to deal with myself. They are highly professional & they carry out all funerals with the same love & respect they would for their own family members. Thankyou Pettigrews for the genuine care that you provide for all the families & their loved ones that you look after on a daily basis - it doesn't go unnoticed!

Having never had to personally deal with organising a funeral, I was thankful for the kindness and care we received when organising my Aunts funeral. From the initial phone call, the wonderful service, and even the administration staff we felt our Aunt was in good hands. Our thanks to all concerned.
