For the first time, clean kids playground ! Everything was in the right place Caring and friendly staff Well done team Takanini.
Honestly every time I visit, I wonder why I am there! Access/egress is difficult though the underground parking was a great solution. The majority staff are always chatting and mucking around looking like they would rather be anywhere else in the world. They are also unhelpful or simply don’t know when you ask them or there is never anyone around to help when you need it. The senior staff seem to be better empowered, but are always run off their feet assuredly picking up the slack. The garden center is generally sad and in a bit of disarray with plants wilting and dying on the stands.. the houseplant section always seems to be well maintained however. But again no one around to help answer questions. The customer services desk is generally extremely rude doing the bare minimum. The checkout team and greeters always do a fantastic job however! Good prices, and an OK range if you can find what you are looking for. I tend to research ahead online and get in and out as quickly as possible or do click and collect.
Been there twice in three weeks. Both times the price at the checkout was higher than the ticketed price. Went in and chose a trolley for $148. There was a pile of them under the ticket price, so not as if a customer has put a random one there. At the register they tried to charge me $199.00. When I complained, another worker went and checked and told the other staff member I was right. She charged me $148. The staff member who checked them went and served someone else. Did they change the ticket? Who knows. They treat all customers as if they are thieves. A staff member stands at the door and checks your receipt as you walk out. Do they think we are all going to steal something? Go to M10. They are a bit more expensive, but their service is better and they don’t assume everyone is a thief.
The checkout operators needs more training. I kept on telling checkout operator about the special on a product but she still charged me double for the pot of flowers. We had to unwantingly to go to customer service bcs of her. she probably needs more training.
Really nice store. Staff is lovely, it's open late during weekdays, full of different things you never thought you'd ever need, but do.
Went to look for door lock and not a soul around to ask questions. Years ago people used to stand at the aisles asking if you need help. Now can't find anybody and when you do they don't have that experience or knowledge in the area you want. No more older people that have diy knowledge
Not too old. Heaps of parking and well planned store. Shelves are always full and doesn't get busy most times. Staff are very friendly and efficient. I always find what I want. Excellent range. Getting out of the carpark can be a pain though. The main road is almost always bumper to bumper.
Bunnings Ware House is a big store for buying daily need products & all comodities like paint,paint rollers,brushes,gardening tools,lawn mowers,flower pots,potting mix,all type of tools ,gardening plants,pots,spray pumps,pipes,ropes,full range of electricals like fans, lamps, decoration lights,solar lights,extension cords,moulded furniture,all available under one roof ****
Got some gate hanger/hinges that were too big, went back and found a smaller set, exactly the same as the bigger set, and payed $7.20 more. . . Not happy.
There are never any "friendly" staff around to help like the TV ads claims. Few bored looking staff on checkouts but no one in the floor to seek out help and assistance with product knowledge or looking for products. Every time this occurs to so not a one off event.
