The staff member at the info desk was friendly and pointed out the aisle to find padlocks. What a great range of styles, sizes and prices. The self-checkout worked well. The man supervising the checkouts was super friendly and funny. Having a Cafe on site was a bonus. It was clean and airy.
Took my doogo shopping with us today. Got a little doggy biscuit at the doorway and were made to feel very welcome. Hubby's favourite shop ever... always heading to Bunnings... Seems they have everything a hard core DIYer could ever want. Always had good service here.
Great variety, but also excellent customer service, we needed to bring our mower back under warranty, it was so easy. Megan in particular went out of her way to help when we had some extra issues and her cheery and informative efficiency created a good level of trust that she had our situation in hand.
Poor customer service from some staff let's down the others. Brought items around the store and because one was from the tool shop I was told to go back there to check out so had to backtrack pay there and then come back through the front checkout again to leave. There was no queue at the front and an email from Bunnings confirms it's not policy so seems to be laziness. When you say 'have a good day' to someone and their reply is 'yeah' it comes across as rude. The chap scanning receipts on the door was friendly and polite so some of their staff are good just not all.
Was looking online for a item again according to the computer it was in stock so I paid online to click and collect. Later they called me to say it was out of stock. They did all they could to help even checking other stores for me, but no luck so they refunded my money back to my account. Oh well all I can say is the staff are great but head office needs to get their act together. They are obviously not on top of things.
We have been to bunny’s many times and each time we have asked for help, no one seems to know anything about anything and tell us to go ask someone else. If this has happened once I would of shrugged it off but it happens every time. But if you go to mitre10 you are provided with outstanding service. I know where I will be shopping more from now on.
Consistently no one in timber area to help. Consistently staff that don't know or dont want to know information. Consistently loosing sales to mitre 10. I keep telling dept managers and most agree. Lol. Your training is not working as you have lost over $5k worth on me alone in the last 4 months.
They need to nail the essentials better. They have bolts, but they're missing a ton of smaller sizes/lengths. I bought 3 bolts each made out of a different material. Each M3 in size.

First time there and hated it. Dark an dingy store. Took a while to find a staff member, and when I did, he said, "What I wanted was only available on-line". So I found another staff member, he had no idea. Then another, again, no idea. Then the next one I found said to ask the 1st staff member I asked because it's his department. So I went back and showed him a photo and he said yes we have those .... asked him to show me where they were. While we were walking there, he stopped twice to help other customers. Felt like it was a darn circus I couldn't wait to get out of there!
