Bunnings online shopping system failed and it has held my funds for 5 days now. I placed an order last week online, but their system showed the order was cancelled for some reason. But when I checked my bank account, it still charged me the money for it. It's been my worst online shopping experience so far. Please fix your online shopping system and return my money ASAP.
Bunnings has introduced a policy that no products can be carried in their loan trailers if they do not fit in the tray, ie no overhangs. I wanted to buy 2.9 metre joists which would overhang the front only and be aligned with the towbar, was not allowed. Rubbish policy because to use their trailers you sign an indemnity. If they are worried about their name on the trailer, then they should take the name off. I had to go to Mitre 10 and I must say More 10 is a breath of fresh air.
Pretty helpful, can be a bit slow - overall they do their best. However, the Bunnings business model needs some work - it's annoying to have to keep changing stores to find stock online.... why not have a central inventory website that can dispatch stock from wherever it is located?
I popped into my local Bunnings and special ordered a shed, making a $500 deposit to secure the shipment...remainder to be paid on pickup. NO Shed after 14 days after being told 6-12 days for it to arrive. Apparently Bunnings are unable to contact their suppliers...very poor as I need the shed rather urgently they were made aware of this. Staff are nice but no good if they do not have the shed. Unhappy is an understatement :
WESTAGATE STORE ALERT Worst Customer Service available Use other store if you can
Today I went to the Wairau Park store to purchase a spray can of Polyurethene. As it was in a locked cupboard I had to wait for service. The paint area had one staff member, she said she was new, and as she was dealing with a customer I was prepared to wait a while? After 11 minutes I asked if she could call for assistance where the reply was the other person was on a break. after another 5 minutes she made a phone call where help arrived a further 8 minutes later. A total of 24 minutes to get served. I paid at the counter and asked to see a Manager. It took another 10 minutes for the Manager to arrive, in all very very poor service. This Bunnings Store is renouned for insufficient staff, untrained staff, staff with little to no technical knowledge and Management who do not seem to care!
Bought 28 Paver Classic Stone 450X450x40 this morning 07/01/20 at Bunnings Warehouse Ti Rakau. I requested for assistance as they are really very heavy and the Supervisor said no one can help us in loading the stones. We eventually did it our own. Very bad service. You should hire more guys in your store or do not sell heavy stuff anymore.
I recently visited the Manukau Bunnings Store on 29/12/18 and was very unimpressed with the service, the demeanor, and general tardiness of the staff. Several staff members were more interested in talking on their mobile phones than serving the waiting customers especially in the paint dept. None of the staff I spoke to even bothered to smile and appeared to have a complete lack of friendliness towards members of the public, who after-all, pay their wages. At the checkouts, there were only two operators working, even though the store was busy and even then, we were greeted with a sour look and abruptness. Personally, I feel the management needs a good kick up the backside and the staff needs some serious teaching in public relations. I will not be shopping at that store again, ever. Neil Young
Couldn't get a reply when calling Bunnings, called the nation support office and asked if a particular branch had a type of paint i was looking for, they said they couldn't tell me. When i asked what sort of support they offered they said Quote "I DON'T REALLY KNOW" lol they did offer to try the phone line for me again lol they got the same result i got......NO REPLY. hmm thanks for the laugh but seriously???
WESTGATE STORE is useless they are worst customer service available
