Welcoming and friendly staff and service. Huge variety of stock. Found exactly what I needed. Reasonable prices. Lots of on site specials to tempt you. Toilets are available and always clean. Heaps of parking available.
Great store with plenty of range and a nice temperature. Employees could be more available at times and the cut shop could cut timber more accurately but on the whole a great Bunnings!
Service was DISGRACEFUL. Workers were poorly or not trained. Stock was in the most random places ever. Went in looking for plastic sheeting, and after asking a worker at the service desk you know, that place where customers go to GET HELP and was told they had no idea what I was talking about. It seemed that the staff to customer ratio was roughly 1 to 100, and the staff that had bothered to come in were unhelpful, rude, and utterly HOPELESS. It seems that they hire high schoolers that barely have any idea how the outside world works. It would be very surprising if this Bunnings sees my face again.
Serious abuse of baby report: Happened to walk around the corner when a bunnings staff member was abusing the baby in an aggressive tone yelling at it to get off their table. The Bunnings staff member was stony faced aggressive and maintained that when I mentioned that the baby didn't understand English and that she would have to use baby talk. The other Bunnings staff member was also aghast. As the baby has already survived motor bike attacks and other abuse from the miserable blonde slitherin types it maybe a racial or type conflict. Though the staff at the Bunnings in Airlie Beach also often devolve into the more abusive self centered ridiculous customer service style. The Bunnings store itself seems reasonable and has a large stock of supplies though as for another post the customer service may be lacking on occasions.
This place is a joke, staff standing around talking, eating iceblocks. The guy out the back just walking back and forwards looking at us not asking if we would like any help. We had a ute and trailer load. Won't be back here again. What a circus.
We purchased bamboo fencing and had to then buy spider spray as we were loading into the van we noticed lots of spiders on the backs of them. Now our job is done it looks great.
Friendly red shirted staff. Found what I wanted pretty quickly. Got a snag in bread. What's not to love
I honestly avoid the North Mackay Bunnings when I can, poor customer service and everytime I walk into that joint I feel like the customer is just some pain in there butt. Today they had most of there workers restocking shelves in the middle of the day and pallets absolutely everywhere no gaps between them so you can crossover if you needed to. Comon common sense! Prices have gone up dramatically too, there garden area is garbage compared to the Paget store.
Employees just stood around and spoke to one another whilst a long line at the checkout got longer instead of coming over and doing their job
Always had good experiences at Bunnings. But today was not that great. I understand if a cashier is busy and I am more than happy to stand in line and wait. But if you over to help me don’t get grumpy and irritated with me, you offered to help. Today 26/9 great and friendly service from every one Caleb and Joel at the irrigation, the lady at the tile department thanks and the lady at the check out thank you everyone.
