Huge! But no problem finding anything because the staff were helpful.
They have everything I need, even if I’m not sure what I need the friendly staff are always willing to help. I had to return a few items because they were the wrong size, no questions asked, they did the refund right then and there. Will definitely go there again. The sausage sizzle on Saturday is always a winner.

Bunnings met the moment. Aisle after aisle of solutions to problems I didn’t know I had, all faintly smelling of timber, sausages, and capability.nnThe staff were genuinely helpful—the kind of helpful that doesn’t hover, but notices the look on your face that says I don’t actually know what GSM rating I need. Clear advice, no upsell, no judgement. Just practical calm.nnBunnings has this quiet authority. It assumes you’re competent—or at least capable of becoming so with the right tarp, rope, and five minutes of explanation.nnI left drier already. Not because the rain had stopped—but because I was prepared.
Went there today and was checking out at about 3:30pm, I was looking down making sure I had everything whilst in the line at the only register with a staff member at it. By the time I lifted my head the person at the register still serving someone taps a sign saying the register is closed and points at the tool shop as the only available register, I was completely disgusted in this as why are all the registers closed at 3:30pm and all the staff are standing around chatting at the tool shop counter I counted at least 5 staff members. So why are the registers closing and why is there no customer service. Please do better instead of making customers look like idiots. BTW there was a rush of customers leaving, when I worked in retail you were literally assigned a register and couldn't leave the area around it unless you were making the stock look presentable around it. Absolutely no disciplined workers these days, just lazy.
Went into Bunnings at Carseldine today to buy a BBQ. Was having a difficult time finding the box for the one that I wanted. A young lady named Dani must have seen that I was having trouble and she came over to offer assistance. She also couldn't locate the BBQ that I was looking for, but her personality and professionalism persuaded me to buy a different BBQ. It was a few dollars more but well worth it for the great customer service. Thanks Dani.
